NO, I will NOT do a system restore (I don't see any reason to if this is my only problem with the new OS). YES, I HAVE installed SetPoint and Unifying Software from the Logitech support page multiple times, neither recognize the device as plugged in. YES, I HAVE tried different computers (a Windows 8.1 (which worked) and a Windows 7 (which did not, for different reasons)). YES, I HAVE tried all other USB Ports on my computer. Device Manager does not display it under any relevant tab: Now my computer refuses to recognize that the receiver is plugged in. But whatever, it removed the horrendously anti-user start menu of 8.1, so I'm fine with it). That, I guess, made it think I wanted my computer to be restarted in the middle of a game. I have been using my logitech M510 wireless mouse successfully with Windows 8.1 until Windows 10 installed itself by surprise on my machine (I had been declining each time the window for installing it popped up, I guess I shouldn't have broken form and just closed it out. Don't forget to also try updating it, though mine was up-to-date already. Somehow during the update from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 this happened, and in order to fix it, one must right click on USB Root Hub (xHCI) and select "Enable" (pretty self-explanatory, but being specific helps sometimes). In the list of USB ports depicted in the image below, you will notice that USB Root Hub (xHCI) has a specific icon appearing over it, indicating that it is disabled.
